Get Creative with Your Long Arm Machine

On Saturday I was invited to Prescott Ontario to Watergirl Quilt Co. to teach my Get Creative with Your Long Arm Class.  There were 14 participants in attendance and I spoke about many ways to be creative with your long arm.
Topics Included : 

• Why be creative with your long arm?
• Important tools needed
• How to think about surface design on a quilt
• Pantograph Quilting how and why?
• Free Motion Quilting
• Ruler Work
• Grid Work
• Couching Techniques
• Thread Painting
• Twin Needle Stitching with a BERNINA Long Arm
• Channel Locks
• A "Take & Make" to incorporate lessons learned 

There was of course many topics covered and a jam packed day. In fact the "Make & Take" ended up being a "Take & Make" as there was no time left to execute this. These participants are all very experienced and talented and I'm sure they will have no issue with this little project completion😘  I also included some goody bags as this was Watergirl Quilts 3rd Anniversary Celebration ! Congratulations to Watergirl Quilt Co of Prescott, Ontario
