Quilt Canada 2025 was held at the International Convention Center in Mississauga June 18-21. I felt it was a resounding success. The Quilt Show itself was extensive as well as the talent and the beautiful quilts and the merchant mall housed over 66 vendors at last count on the CQA website. I spent a total of 3 days and 2 evenings there. Thursday June 19 , I demonstrated Beautiful Botanicals Free Motion Quilting (an upcoming class) and Quintessential Qmatic both in the Qseries Long Arm machines. I also did a short demo on Silly Moon Rulers. I have a photo dump below of the photos I have from my work on the merchant floor, my haul of goodies and more. My favorite quilt in it's category - so well done! Also Loved this appliqué quilt, an appliqué masterpiece There were many, many, many other quilts I loved but did not a picture of the credits tag so could not post. Congratulations to all the winners, you blew me away with your finesse and talent!
The show seemed packed. Especially Thursday and busy the rest of the time so I’m thinking it was a financial success as well. I’m just one person in thousands but Canadians are eager for quilting, sewing, arts & crafts and showcases of this type. I'm happy to say I'm teaching next year at Quilt Canada 🇨🇦 in Winnipeg, Manitoba next June and I recommend you attend. I'll post details of my classes (of course over and over within the next year😛) stay tuned! I hope you enjoyed my review & Happy Thursday!❤️
