 Quilt #20 for 2023 is my Autumnal Sunflower Quilt. I designed this to practise Ruler Work and Free Motion Quilting as a class sample. I'm teaching this class at Creekbank Sewing in Mount Forest Ontario.
If you want to brush up on your ruler work or free motion quilting skills, please call the store. If you are interested in a class or a kit of all of the fabric & the pattern. Their number is 519-323-2693. Just want the pattern? Get it here. Any easily pieced quilt, great for practising. It would also be a great centre starting point for a larger quilt. It measures 48 x 48" when finished. Happy Friday ! The end of the work week for some, time for creative pursuits & fun for others. Gotta love weekends. I’m sharing today to inspire you! Maybe this weekend you’ll dust off your rulers & try them ? On Tuesday I taught my Interlocked Ruler Work class For Long Arm Machines at Creekbank Sewing in Mount Forest and I thought I would show you what the students accomplished. They came to class with their Interlocked quilt top all sewn together & then we worked on filling the spaces with ruler & free motion fill work. For those of you don’t know Interlocked is my pattern available here. Pictures of all of our work is shown below. It's so much fun to design and play with fantastic sewing resources and 5.
