I recently purchased a Brother Scan N Cut CM 650
I mean no disservice to any other cutting methods! I just have wanted this for a long time and realize it's potential for both paper crafting and quilting and decided I wanted to make it one of my new studio tools. So far so great! I am having lots of fun with it. This machine has 1,000 plus designs and several fonts to cut or draw. There is also "Canvas Workspace" a web based design location linked to your purchase where you can work on more designs! My idea is to use it mainly for appliqué but you can also cut out stencils, quilt blocks, draw, resize and scan designs to be used in quilting. So far I have found it to be very user friendly and lots of tutorials online. Take a look at the first (of many I hope) projects below:
I will show and share as I complete other projects but this was fun, even though I am not ready for fall :(
I am thinking of many more projects to come... oh no :0) With school back in session this would be a great tool for teachers! Where to get it? See below:

Have a great Tuesday and I hope the first day of school for your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews and the coming year is a happy one❤️
