Hi everyone, this past weekend I attended the Mennonite Relief Sale and Quilt Auction in New Hamburg with my friend Carol and it was awesome. Read all about it here This has happened every year in this area for 50 years! The quilts were gorgeous! So much talent! The food smelled delicious and it was lots of fun. I purchased the below, lovely paisley fabric from the Mennonite Relief Sale Tent. I also purchased a used manly backpack from the Mennonite Thrift booth for my husband so that he would stop using his daughters old one! Lol Later on... we attended a new quilt shop "Quilting By Design" in New Hamburg with Caroline (a quilting hostage we picked up) and Carol : Address: 337 Waterloo Street Unit 3 New Hamburg, ON N3A 1S6 website link is here This shop houses many wonderful modern fabrics We also visited Hyggeligt Fabric in St Mary's - Home to many Kaffe Fassett fabrics! It was wonderful. Address: 144 Queen St East St Marys, Ontario website link is here My purchases from the above stores? Of course you know it! Some lovelies I just had to have. I see a modern Dresden and a Tipsy Tumbler in my future. If you are in the area, these are all things I recommend. The Mennonite Relief sale in May and quilt shop hopping (any time) at the shops we visited above, a great Saturday activity!
My eyes are now happy and I am itching to sew, so Have a Happy Monday!😊

Sounds great Robin! Love the Paisley fabric you bought, please post a pic of the "manly" backpack 😀 Was it fabric?
