DIY Sustainable Button Storage Project- It's Tool and Technique Tuesday!

A few weeks ago I reorganized all my buttons, put them into canning jars and blogged about it!  See it here. Today I used a found object and reused/repurposed something to make a totable storage container for some of my buttons.  This project will cost you nothing if you buy clementines in those wooden crates that just get recycled again or thrown into a landfill.
Say yes to sustainable projects!

If you make this, you will have a bright, recognizable, go to storage for your buttons.

Start with one of these

Paint it in a bright colour you love, use a hot glue gun to glue some of your button collection onto the outside and use a sharpie marker to draw stitch lines

Assemble your gorgeous buttons

Load up your new storage container, it will look better on your shelf than that old shoe box you had them in guaranteed!
Happy Tuesday Everyone!
