Hi everyone, my door was going to be bare for halloween this year until I happened upon the above pattern which I purchased at the recent Waterloo County Quilters' Guild Show from a vendor there. The pattern is from babs n' jas designs by Barbara Haworth- Attard 'n' Judy Ann Sadler available here I whipped this little wallhanging (door hanging in my case) on friday because I wanted to make something easy and fun and this fit the bill perfectly! As you can see I added some outline stitches around the bats so they would show up on the black border and I added goggly eyes to add to the fun look of the bats. Quilting does not always have to be large quilts, sometimes the sheer joy of making something pretty, uncomplicated and "finish able" is such a joy! Have a Happy Halloween!🎃
