The completed quilt! Thread painting on a long arm? Who Knew?  This sunflower is appliquéd at this point on a strip pieced quilt that was constructed from a jelly roll, I then thread painted and quilted it as you go on my long arm- such fun! I named it Having a Heat Wave as the colours are hot and Sunflowers grow in the hottest part of the year here at least.
