Happy Wednesday, my interview with Steven Bland & the Idiot Quilter is officially live on YouTube. I have posted it below. It's kind me in a nutshell. 🥜🐿 🌰 I hope you enjoy it 😊 I was interviewed last week by a fellow You Tuber Steven Bland from Bland Designs & The Idiot Quilter. Steven is an enthusiastic quilter who films videos available on YouTube about quilting, sewing, machine embroidery and paper crafting! I was included in his series about other quilters who are on YouTube.
I met Steven originally at the invitation of a mutual friends (Judy) at Quilt Canada for a meet & greet Thanks to Judy! Tomorrow our interview will go live at 9:00 am ish . The link is here if you are interested, he asked my lots of questions about my passion for quilting. Also, you might also enjoy his ongoing quilty/crafty content, check out his YouTube Channel here There is an abundance of videos and topics discussed! Don't forget to like and subscribe❤️ I will also post our video tomorrow once it goes live on this website. I hope you all enjoy the interview and have a fantastic week! ☀️🙂 My blog post about Twin Needle Ruler Quilting that I demo'd at Quilt Canada is posted on the Bernina Blog here. Have a read and let me know what you think. You could also try this technique on a domestic (home) sewing machine. It was so much fun! Give me some feedback, I would love to hear if you think you'll try it and what you think about this as a creative option for quilting. FYI this is also Quilt #13 on my BERNINA Q20 Longarm Machine! Stay cool!☀️
While we were at Quilt Canada in Halifax, my sister and I purchased the Louie Waist Pack pattern from Uh Oh Creations and were fortunate to meet and spend time with Tara the designer of the pattern (also a fellow BERNINA Ambassador). Below is a picture of the finished Louie Waist Pack hot off our Bernina Presses LOL . My sister is a 770 owner and I used my teaching/go to class BERNINA 350. We had a fun day making this and it's a fantastic size for a summer cross body. I recommend to all to try her patterns if you are into bag making!
As you are reading this post I am on my way to Quilt Canada in Halifax. I'll show some sneak peaks of 1) My Trendtex Challenge Quilt & 2) my demos for BERNINA of Canada. I will be demonstrating some fun techniques. A picture of the navy, turquoise & periwinkle quilt is below. Can you guess what the technique is? If you are at Quilt Canada, come on over to see my demo at 10:00 am Friday and Saturday at the BERNINA Canada booth to see what I am up to.!
