This week was busy as usual these days! I worked on free motion samples and instructed a small free motion quilting workshop. I also attended my Elmira Needle Sisters quilt guild meeting this week and can I say.... What a wonderful group of ladies! Check out their website here Linda, Alison and I had some time to work on our Hexagon Quilt along. Check out the pic below, what a mess we made with scraps in my living room! So Quilty though, don't you think? Quilters can sure make a mess!! (it's a clean mess) For those blog followers who are working on the Hexagon Quilt Along from a distance we would love to see your progress as you go and it will be posted if you email it to me at [email protected].
In addition, I devoted this week to finishing a quilt I am custom quilting on my long arm. There was a lot of straight line work, feather design and a leaf design (a www.quiltingintheloft.com original!), I will be showing you pics after it's owner has picked this up and has had a chance to look at it. Check back later in the gallery page to see pics. Happy Friday Everyone! January is almost done! Yeah!
