This week was a week for working on my long arm, custom quilting, having a friend over to test one of my new patterns, working on pattern designs and for a little bit of personal sewing. I was able to finish just a mini project this week. My "mini" project was to make name tags for a local guild I attend and I made three of them one for a friend, my sister and myself. See the pics below. If any one would like the pattern, I would be happy to share (it is my own original quick pattern), just contact me via the contact page or click on Facebook above right and message me. As you can see I hand embroidered the names and appliquéd some 1/4" hexies for whimsy and fun. There is a pocket on the back for guild library cards etc. ...and I used a grommet as the hole for the matching lanyard with a swivel snap hook. Very "quilty" aren't they?
Happy Friday!
