The Quilter's Magic Wand is a tool/ruler for quilters to mark 1/2 square triangles, flying geese blocks, connecter corners and more. Depending on what you are piecing this is a very helpful tool measures in at 1/2" wide by 12" long it comes in 8 different colors – Lime, Hot Pink, Beige/Champagne, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Plum/Light Pink, and Dark Violet. It has a registration line down the centre and that means there is 1/4" on either side. Hmmmmm what is quiltings' universal measurement?? 1/4" This tool is so handy! See how I have been using it below: This tool is wonderful because you can place and mark accurate sew lines for 1/4". A simple concept and a fantastic, inexpensive tool that makes this process easier. Any process that is easier makes for fun projects as we all know. :) Where to get this? Check out Deb Tuckers website here or watch the you tube video below If you are in the Barrie area, Hummingbird Sewing carries these Quilters Magic Wand as well as Deb Tucker rulers.
That's my tool tip for this thursday, I hope it is as helpful for you as it is for me. Have a Happy Monday:)
